With recent progress in IPL spot fixing, court judge Mr Dharmesh recently issued warrants against some Pakistani based citizens including Javed Chutani, Ehteysham and Salman.The Pakistani based residents are charged for being close allies to underworld don Dawood Ibrahim through which they conducted spot fixing crime in IPL. Warrants issued against the three criminals are non-bailable. The court actions for warrants came in response to application request made by the Delhi police special cell responsible for investigating the IPL spot fixing scandal. The court cleared the warrant with a statement which mentioned clearly the role of three in the fixing scandal. An open NBW warrant is issued with no fixed time limit decided for warrant execution.
The three Pakistanis against which warrants are issued are said to be living in Karachi and Lahore. Karachi and Lahore are the cities from alleged for all IPL fixing scandal was conducted as per the application presented by the police to the court. The court cleared in the statement that the criminals are Pakistan based citizens and thus direct warrants cannot be issued directly. As a result open NBWs were charged against the three criminals. The court session was extended to make decisions against the bookies involved. Therefore NBWs were also opened against 4 bookies which include Sandeep Sharma, Sanjay Aggarwal, Praveen Kumar and Shakeel Amir.
The current date set for plea execution is said to be September 30 for police to handle. As per the police many others bookies have also been arrested but are undergoing interrogation for making a strong case in the court. Some of the bookies which are involved in the scandal are also resisting arrest and police is yet to catch them. Dawood Ibrahim and Chhota Shakeel are also part of charge sheet and allegations are being made on them for controlling the IPL spot fixing crime from overseas.
