Robin Uthappa will not be seen playing from the RR side in the 14th season of the IPL. He has now become a part of Dhoni’s CSK. Rajasthan traded Uthappa in a cash deal with Chennai. He will now be seen batting in the yellow jersey.
This is the 6th team in all the 14 seasons of IPL for Robin Uthappa. He has previously played for Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals, Kolkata Knight Riders, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Pune Warriors.

Robin said, “I really enjoyed playing for Rajasthan Royals. It was great to be a part of this franchise. I have now joined the Chennai Super Kings for the IPL 2021.
Uthappa is one of the highest run scorer in the IPL. He has scored 4607 runs in 189 matches with an strike rate of 129.99 and also scored 24 half centuries.

He was also able to get the orange cap in the year 2014 when he scored 600 runs in that season.
However, his performance was not up to the mark in the previous season. In IPL 2020, he was only able to score 196 run in 12 matches. This was the main reason for his release from the Rajsthan Royals camp.
