India’s right-arm medium-fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar is suffering from a thigh injury and he is likely to return on the field only in IPL 2021. Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been quite unlucky in the last 2 years as he has suffered a lot of injuries during this period.
He suffered from a thigh injury during a league match in IPL 2020. He was then forced to leave the tournament midway.
At present, this one of the best fast bowlers of India is currently going through the rehabilitation process at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.
He is likely to complete the rehabilitation by the end of January 2021 but he will only be able to play in the IPL 2021.
This means that he is going to miss the India England series which is scheduled to be played in India in the month of February.
India is currently playing test series against Australia and is already struggling with better bowling options as Shami is also ruled out due to injury. Other than Bumrah and Umesh Yadav, India does not have any other senior bowler in their squad.
This condition is likely to remain in the India England series as 3 senior Indian pacers Ishant, Shami and Bhuvneshwar Kumar are suffering from injuries.
IPL 2021 is likely to start in April 2021 and Bhuvneshwar’s return will make his team SRH more strong in the tournament who lost to Delhi Capitals in the playoff of IPL 2020.
