CSK’s fast bowler who destroyed PBKS batting order in yesterday’s (16th April 2021) match between CSK and PBKS, Deepak Chahar hopes to see the playing 11 players like Ravindra Jadeja.
Chahar was all praise about Ravindra Jadeja and termed him as one of the best fielders in the world.
Jadeja fielding proved to be the turning point of the match between CSK and PBKS where he ran out KL Rahul with his brilliant throw and took a stunning catch of Chris Gayle.
England’s former player and captain Michael Vaughan also said that Jadeja is his best favorite foreign player.
After the match, Deepak Chahar said,
He is one of the best fielders in the world. He has taken many catches on my bowling. I want 11 Jaddu on the field. In the first over, when the ball went to Rituraj Gaikwad, it was very fast and onnly Jaddu could stop it. So I thought that Jadeja would have been there.
Michael Vaughan also praised Jadeja after watching his fielding. He wrote on Twitter,
Jadeja was exceptional in the match against PBKS. He ran out KL Rahul on a stunning throw when Punjab’s score was 15.
After that, he took a brilliant diving catch of explosive batsman Chris Gayle.
Punjab was not able to recover after these blows and they were restricted to a very low score of just 106 runs.
Chahar was also very sharp in this match and took 4 wickets in his spell of 4 overs while giving only 13 runs.
CSK easily won the match in 15.4 overs with the loss of 4 wickets.
